Any word on how the new guys looked? I made up for not being able to go tonight by watching the Goons game. Make sure you watch the highlights of that if you're just getting back from our game.
Knowles and Davies didn,t get a lot of game time think they only made a show in the 2nd half, they didn't do anything spectacular but we can say that for most of the team, Fleming and Charnock got starts and looked settled in there positions.
It was a a very low key game with no intensity at all, bit like a training game, there were lots of one man rugby with some individuals thinking they might look better against weak opposition but they didn,t. York played very well in defence but where getting knocked back in attack due to our heavier forwards, they had a couple of chances out wide on there right hand side, glad they managed to score at the end because they deserved something out of this game.
For Saints if they had a stronger team out and played with a more fluid attack they could have put another 30 points on to the score line, York played better than us as a team and should imagine they went back over the pennines with something positive from the game experience.
