With the injuries not looking good , long term for Lomax , Jones out of favor and Wellens playing on one leg does anyone else think we may see the return of Gardner?? He's still only 31 and might be able to do a job in the short term, maybe allowing Makinson to play @ 1

Don,t forget Gardener has had a good few games playing full back.

Another injury to an outside back and we'll be needing someone. Not sure if any of the 19's are ready to step up but if not then we'll be looking for loans/short term purchases , in that instance Ade would surely be worth a punt given he's here , likely to be cheap and knows the club

You might laugh at this, but I believe he is currently injured himself. At the last home game we had he seemed to be limping badly, almost dragging one of his legs.

Don't forget though that I believe if we did this, his entire salary for the year would count on the cap, and in it's entirety, we can't just say he's playing for free and being paid to work as a physio.

I can't see him getting paid amazing wages as a junior physio - your right though and it's probably the only reason he hasn't been registered as a player already

Hells Bells, he was little better than average when he was at his prime, never mind after not having played for 12 months

It's all about numbers and we seem to be running out. Do we have any outside backs in the 19's kicking KC's door down demanding a first team chance because there killing it in the juniors? Answer is I don't know but if there was some of the people who watch the junior games normally post something. I remember hearing about the likes of Gaskell , Lomax, Makinson etc
