Not too happy with the play being stooped as soon as a player goes down. This will just make for players to go down on purpose to slow down the oppositions momentum. Teams like the pies who play on the edge of the rule book will have this coached into them.

I think the issue was the first one being a head injury and the others where when Catalan were defending so the player downed was in the defensive line.

They have always ruled that an injured player in the defensive line will stop the game to stop others landing on him.

It was all stop start last night.

But if they don't get up straight away, they have to go off for 10 mins so perhaps this will reduce it?

I suspect the Dragons indulged in this last night. I also think the free interchange is going to be abused, and had it not been Saints' doctor sending Bosc off for his assessment I would have been suspicious there too given how he stayed off for almost exactly 15 minutes. That could become a very handy way of getting extra interchanges.

Ah yes, I'm sure Catalan would've been delighted their only recognised half back was forced to leave the pitch, what an advantage!

Oh don't be so childish. Two others went down in the match and then amazingly they sprung up again when the ref didn't take any notice. It's quite easy to see how this could be exploited.

Hardly, that's a ridiculous thing to say especially in regards to Bosc. If they were going to cheat for the free interchange you wouldn't use your only recognised halfback who has to leave the pitch for a chunk of the game. The benefit of the free interchange is nowhere near the disadvantage they quite clearly had with the lack of creativity near the line.
