Believe me, he will be huge huge loss to us. He want the Manu we seen at cas and hull but he was a good solid player.

I'd have been happy to let him go if Sia was staying and having Vea and sia in Backrow but the min Sia said he was off I'd have moved mountains to keep Manu for one more year.

I think with his age and the fact he wasn't busting tackles like he used to that he's got he making of doing a job at prop/Backrow for a year.

Like I said, he wasn't the Manu of hull but he was murder to put down and attracted defenders which created space with a quick PTB or If he got a offload out.

Give it 6 weeks and fans will soon notice what a Massive loss he will be.

It depends really, if we see Thompson/ Greenwood/ Savelio really step up and prove themselves as a top SL backrower/ start to push for an international squad call up (and I think there's the capability there) then we will be fine imo. What Manu would of offered is a safety net so we're not totally reliant on the kids making that step.

Only time will tell if we made the right decision.

My worry is losing both second rows together. Two big solid experienced second rows as well!

Wilkin and flash are both two lightweight and not in the same league or type of player as Sia and Manu. Vea could step into one of their boots but I doubt he can match them for quality or ability.

That leaves us with Greenwood ( I rate ), Thompson (is he a second row) who IMO won't break tackles like willie and Sia and Andre is unknown prospect really having played 2 games and probably no more than 30 mins of super league.

I think Greenwood has bags of potential and he can break tackles as he's shown. Thompson I've always said will be a good player but then what position is he ? Saveilo looks like he can be a worldclass player and I believe it was me that brought to people's attention when he was only 15/16 years old.

Potential is great but if these don't live up to it this season then our pack is much much weaker than last year.

Hopefully Greenwood's apparent surge, Sav's hopeful emergence and LMS moving to back row will help us mitigate for the loss of two senior back row guys.
