Missed the reason why Wello was throwing punches?

Anyone know what the Widnes chap did? (he got 10mins for it)

It was Wilkin wasn't it? The Widnes player tackled him late after the kick and Wilkin then through a couple of punches at him.

Yeh, the widnes player came in late and hit his non-kicking leg, which could have caused a pretty serious injury. Wilkin took exception to it and hit a couple of the widnes players.

On Widnes forum he's getting the blame? and during the game he was getting boo's

We widnes fans saw exactly what happened but at the time we couldnt work out if it was wellens or wilkin,wilkin should have been sent off or got at least 10 as he did a 'ben flower' to manakufoa who took the kicker out,it was an absolute disgrace and if the game had been on the box he would have been sent off

And btw it was a dangerous challenge by manakufoa which deserved 10 imo,the only reason wilkin got away with blue murder is that silverwood and both touchies were looking downfield

You obviously didnt see the incident then YG,wilkin punched manakufoa at least twice whilst he was on the floor,now in my reckoning thats doing the same as what flower did

Manakufoa did the same thing last week on O'Brien against Warrington and got off with it by the disciplinary, so he goes out and does it again yesterday.
It can,t be clear cut what the saints player did on the basis that they all blamed it on the wrong player in Wello.
