Always liked Clive Woodward, he is a top coach and he always has good things to say about league. It's a shame he hasnt had a crack at coaching a league team really, I suspect he'd be too expensive for most though !

Burgess came on for his debut as Bath won 25-6. Eastmond scored a try as well. Anyone watch it if it was on TV?

Sam looked really strong, when he was introduced for the last 20 minutes, sent a Quins prop flying bursting through him, Eastmond try was so typical him, well taken, the battering of Quins took Bath to the top of the league, shame the goal kicker forgot his boots.

Never understood this bitterness with the two games, I was a member at Orrell RUFC for many years, and was successful many times in the draw for Twickenham tickets which each club get, what an atmosphere there! Union still wastes too much time with scrums, but we are getting no better and our scrums are a farce anyway, the number of Good people who have gone from League to Union have changed their game, if they ever cut down to 13 players, we would have a fight on our hands, at present it is just the incompetence of the guy who runs the game at Red Hall.

Thankfully, I don't have a Bigoted attitude, of course I know the history! but that is the Past! I've been to Germany and have German friends, that is History and in the Past, but I will always respect what happened

So many of our current ex greats are in Union and they have made a difference.

I never said you should be bitter, I was questioning that you can't understand it. I too am not bitter, I too watch union. That doesn't mean I can't understand the bitterness. I can also understand some old soldiers and a few minority religions being bitter about Germany too.

Add to the dirty tricks union got up to in the UK with what happened in France then you must be blind if you can't understand it.

Times move on, and we have to as well, many young supporters do not know even some of the League greats from 10 years ago, that is life, think Churchill is the insurance dog? Union have learnt a lot from us, I still think 15 players on the pitch is too many, if they came down to 12 it would make such a difference, but we need now to learn from Union, how they run their clubs and marketing of the game.

Saint Simon, I would not say I'm bitter any longer, that is in the past now, I would not check out the the forum daily if I was or read the Reporter match report if I was, would be easy to follow Everton or Liverpool but I have followed and attended West Ham since my teens, same as many Londoners follow Manchester United?
