For those of you who want to miss the Christmas shopping, Wigan Academy take on Aussie Schools at Orrell at 12 noon tomorrow Saturday 29th November.

I'm led to believe that this is one of the best young Aussie sides that have ever toured here and include a couple of Greg Inglis like/size monsters.

They then play Leeds on the 2nd December before the two test matches at Leigh.

Game 1 is on Sat 6th December 2 p.m Kick off
Game 2 is on Fri 12th December 7 p.m. kick off

Should be well worth watching.

The Aussies started their tour with an 86 - 6 win over The Regional Academy in Workington on Wednesday.

I'd say it's an idea for people who have spare time could go and watch some of the potential superstars of the future from Australia

Exactly and I believe Ollie Davies is in the England squad for the International games.

Seen you was 18-6 up but got beat 36-18. Sounded like Doran had a good game at stand off as well, but he didn't look up to much in his limited time playing Super League. What names stood out for the Aussies as ones for the future?

Great entertainment
The score does not represent the game. Wigan lost four players through injury in the first half and then another two in the first ten minutes of the second half. At that point it was still 18 - 6 for Wigan. Unlimited interchanges were used and the Aussies made five at once and kept on making them. Wigan ran out of numbers (no subs available) and when you see the size of some of these Aussie players you will understand why the game got away from Wigan late on.

#1 Mitchell is a very dangerous runner, big strong, fast and elusive #8 Host had a great game, #11 Leilua is a monster, a real handful #6 Lamb kicked them from all over the place.

Ryan Sutton was outstanding for Wigan and my m.o.m. Sadly I hear he is Aussie bound in 2016.

I would advise any RL supporter to get down to Leigh for the next two games I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm guessing a few of these Aussies could have played against Saints when the tour went over last year?

Yes there was a few that i can remember, Oliver Clark the fair haired prop played for Penrith and the big forwards Luciano Leilua and Jacob Host played in the StGeorge/Illawarra Dragons game.
Hame Sele who had a great game last night was also in that Dragons team too.

Lot's of parking at the ground and at the Whistling Wren adjacent to it.
