to cheer us up on a autumn morning and in light of our good neighbours scrabbling around to find somewhere to host their little game, i thought i'd repost this little arrogant post from the 8th of October

The clubs involved are apparently paying the Aus clubs £175k each to come over. Ourselves and wire will easily make that back in ticket sales in our own stadiums, not so our cousins from over the lump

What I love most is the way the pie eaters are just ignoring this fact and hoping it goes away.

They'll probably try to make a big deal about playing it elsewhere for some spurious commercial reason and the Wiganers will swallow it whole in a feeble attempt at saving face.
