Hock to Wire is a good signing for them. A mate I know reckons he left Salford on a promise from a Union club, only for them to pull out. That left him clubless and his agent touted him round. He was turned down by all clubs and has significantly lowered his salary expectations. Wire are supposedly getting him on a tiny contract with a bad behaviour clause, so it's a relatively risk free signing for them.
Them signing Wheeler however is simply bizarre. Talented boy, but hard to see what they see in him long term. I just don't see how he'd get in their 17 and if he's not getting regular gametime I can't see how he will ever blossom.
