Did anyone else receive an email from Sky this afternoon offering tickets to the Wigan v Saints Grand Final. I just read it on the Wire forum, checked the email and it's there.

After they were accused of insulting us over the WWE style presentation they used with the mysterious Man In Black taking away our hub cap you would think they would have been a bit more careful over this.

Or have we all been hoodwinked over the years. Has it all been scripted? Was Wide to West rehearsed? Was the voluntary tackle final just brilliant plot writing by Sky?

They have apologised and reprimanded the people responsible it was in bad taste, and as a Wiganer it was tempting fate, I didn't like it one bit

I'll bet you didn't. Makes you wonder, if they can fake a man on the moon and hide aliens that have been running around New Mexico, who is to say they aren't fixing Challenge Cup draws and SL matches aren't scripted?

I heard about this in my local in Warrington and wrote it off as a stupid hoax.
If true it is disgusting and yet another example of goon bias from Sky.

The script writers aren't very good. They haven't recaptured the storylines of the early naughties when elliot was falling off his chair and they had millward fist pumping and grabbing cheerleaders booties.

The introduction of the gorilla and ligament injury tactics have seen things take a much darker turn. It's like a horror story now.

Sky TV is in fact Wigan TV , made even worse on GF day by the introduction of another 'impartial' commentator in good old 'Sam'. It's disgusting really but I just hope we p!ss on all their chips and win against the odds. The thought of hearing 'Phil' and 'Sam' sobbing makes me smile
