SAINTS have announced their 19-man squad for Thursday's First Utility Super League Semi Final against Catalan Dragons.

Alex Walmsley returns from suspension in place of Matty Dawson.

Nathan Brown will therefore choose from:

2. Tommy Makinson, 3. Jordan Turner, 4. Josh Jones, 5. Adam Swift, 6. Lance Hohaia, 8. Mose Masoe, 9. James Roby, 10. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, 11. Sia Soliola, 13. Willie Manu, 14. Anthony Laffranchi, 15. Mark Flanagan, 16. Kyle Amor, 17. Paul Wellens, 18. Alex Walmsley, 22. Mark Percival, 24. Gary Wheeler, 27. Greg Richards, 28. Luke Thompson.

The game kicks off at 8pm and the referee will be Richard Silverwood.

Walmsley and Jones for Wheeler and Laffranchi/Richards if it was up to me.

Strongest squad we have available imo. I appreciate Dawsons effort but I'm glad he's out the 19 this week.

I would imagine NB will bring Walmsley in for Richards, and personally I'd play Jones in centre before Wheeler. His defence is a lot better and would be better suited against a bigger and more aggressive Catalans team.

Sounds about right, Wheeler a bit too lightweight for this game, tough opening 20 mins I reckon.

Why are we putting flash in the halves and Turner at 13 when anyone with half a brain knows that flash will play in the pack and Turner will play in halves with lance.

Only in defence, Fllash puts the ball in the scrum when its our feed and works in the halves occasionally on second phase.

Flash is playing a forward. It's simple as that. He's never a halfback in million years, even if every half in rugby league was injured he still wouldn't get picked there.

Turner is playing as a 6

Turner will play halves and Flanagan at loose, it's just how it will be on the teamsheet.
