Is it just me who sees this as a good indication of how the club are thinking these days?

Is it just me that thinks our support is awful? Langtree Park is a library of an atmosphere. The home end full of 30-40 year old Roy Cropper and Hayley types who never make any noise. There is no support for the team and no noise, there is also far too little kicking off when the team isn't even trying, which happened several times at LP this season. It's something our media manager has probably got saved in his favourites as he adds it to the end of every interview he does, but thanking us lot this season is a bit daft. If I'd been interviewing I'd have changed it to a rallying cry, pleading with the fans to actually generate an atmosphere in the play offs.

Instead, I'll have to do that

Another thing I liked was Is it just me that thinks our support is awful? Langtree Park is a library of an atmosphere. You really are pathetic. The statement doesn't mention the playoffs or the grand final because they haven't happened yet. He is referring to the 27 games we have played so far.

That made me laugh. NOTE TO SADDO: we are in the playoffs. Friday night 8pm at LP. Just thought I would inform you.

When Rush says that "your support has been superb" he is clearly aiming that directly at you. I always knew that Rushy had a sense of humour.

Why don't you just grow up. Stop trying to twist things to suit your anti-saints agenda. Every week you hope and pray that we lose and put in poor performances. It is really sad.

We finished top. We won more games than anyone else. We are in the play-offs. Our academy are 80 minutes away from the grand final. I know you can't stand any of that but it's true. Well said Rushy!!!

It's ok the last time I saw Saddo make a comment he was saying we would not win the league, end up outside the top 4 and not win a game for the rest of the season.

That was the week after Walsh was injured.

I think he also made a prediction that we would not win silverwear for 10 years.

Which he will now be re-writing to be no silverwear not including the LLS.

Never mind he will be happy so long as he is sad.

You can just imagine him cheering Castleford on against Catalans and being extremely annoyed that they lost. It must of ruined his Saturday night!

Nice to know your imagining me. I imagine you seeing Gerrard Butler getting angry at Catalans?

I love Saints and want the club to do well. I get the feeling the club isn't as committed to winning trophies as they should be, hence the lack of them. As for the LLS, read back over the years and I doubt you will ever find me referring to it with any degree of respect. It's not a true judge of the clubs as they are not all trying to win it in the first place. Leeds pace themselves, Warrington are waking up to that after their GF woes. Wigan don't panic either, resting Frodo a lot this season. There are 3 trophies worth winning and the LLS isn't one of them (Although it's nice to have).

I do think the culture needs a change at Saints but to suggest were not commited to win trophies is just being idiotic. We have no God given right to win anything. Hull FC have spent plenty of money over the years (Westerman etc) big wages to Ellis, Pea etc.. Yet they havent even made the play offs. Is Pearson not commited despite spending all that money ?

Fact is Leeds, Warrington and Wigan have been better than us for aboit 5 years now. We will get things right but with a salary cap you cannot do it over night. Another signing on top of Burns and i think we'll go ok again next year.

its pretty obvious that we are the best of a bad bunch this year, although we have snuck it despite injuries, we would have run away with it I think if we were at full strength.

Winning the LLC never filled me with pride, its a way to position yourself for the play offs, and this year the added WCC place.

I didn't get cheesed off when wigan won it or leeds or whoever, so I don't get anything from winning it.

The goal is the GF, we have the same chance as anyone, but our inability to kill off the most important games will probably come back to bite us.

I agree Langtree Park is quiet at times but our support is normally good and Nathan Brown has commented on it a few times. On Friday night it was superb again.
