It's a decent idea, but I think Sponsors want to build brand recognition and so that may be tricky over 1 round.
I'm not saying it's not worth doing, but having to change all the paraphernalia each week, may end up making a deal cost more than it earns.
I like the idea of several partners rather than a headline sponsor as it gives us more of a corporate outlook and means we don't have all our eggs in one basket so to speak.
I'm not saying the idea is not worth trying, but it would need a little creativity about how you are going to push the name of the sponsor for that weekend, with out huge reprinting costs etc.
Even something like a beer partner has issues as each club has it's own deals, such as Saints Gold.
It maybe possible to sell parts of the season, ie the opening 13 games, the next 13 games and then the playoffs.
