Post from the Wire board

It's the sport causing it. I was at the game today (Don't tell anyone, keep it quiet) and it was even worse than watching Saints. No atmosphere I agree, but that was due to the complete lack of intensity on the field. When you've got 26 men simply going through the motions, playing rehearsed set piece moves over and over again with no effort is incredibly boring.

Shish, can you not just keep him?

Yes mate I do , no matter how bored I got I would not go any wer near that place , I Evan try get the misses go asda so I don't have to see the place

The game is getting too predictable, in fact boring, I choose my games now for many seasons I watched every game home and away and when Academy games were on a Saturday went to them!

Certain teams are becoming a little perscriptive in the way they attack but I can honestly say that I'm enjoying the non-saints games that I see on telly (which I'm watching more often) a lot more than in previous years. Both the sky games this weekend were entertaining (if not top notch quality) even though they were modest fixtures.

I agree. I enjoyed both matches a lot this weekend, despite the bottom-half content.

Which is probably a good job, because that's where Saints are going to be if we don't sort out some sort of ability to attack pretty quickly.

I do wonder if I'm enjoying the games that Saints aren't involved in more because of the associated stress they're giving me at the moment.

Yes there is , someone who turns his back on the town where he lives! Now that is low.

A change of subject I know but I have just checked the latest Super League Odds on Betfred & Saints are 50/1 to win the League Leaders Shield. I cannot ever remember Saints being such long odds for any Trophy in the SL era.
