I know i might get butchered on here for this and maybe im taking this to heart too much but im very annoyed and upset at Saints (Well Saints official twitter).

They posted pictures of the lads in training this morning and tagged it as 'the players in training yesterday'. I did not see the 'yesterday' bit so asked why the lads are training before a massive match on the same day.

The reply i got was a very abrupt "Well i clearly stated it said yesterday training!!"

I then replied by saying i dont pay much attention to you sorry, id rather stare at a wall.

Yes i know extremely childish in that reply but i was kinda annoyed at how they replied back to a simple question. Saints official twitter have then gone and blocked me from seeing any tweets whatsoever. Now some might not be bothered but im a Season ticket holder (5 year deal) i buy both shirts, i go alot of away games and go watching most junior games from u16 upwards and the club i love block me from supporting my team for that ?

The way i feel at the minute they can have the season ticket back, to be treated like that by anything official to do with Saints is nothing short of a disgrace IMO (of course). Rant over.

The media manager is a bit of a prima donna. But he kind of has a point, as you say your reply was very childish. I think he comes on the forums, so perhaps a bit of a more genuine appology may have been a better response.

Getting kicked off the official twitter feed isn't a major deal, it's never going to give you much info as it's an official feed (So they can't dabble in rumours or any of the juicy details obviously as it's an official feed), so just follow one of the Saints fan sites, who tend to give all the info you'd get from the official feed.

I would say you've taken it too much to heart. I got a warning over on Redvee from the Management.

So I had to retract my comment.

Either way it's just a bit of fun, if you really want the twitter feed you are more than welcome use a new name etc etc.

In the end the written word does not carry emotion. You have no idea whether what was written,

Well i clearly stated it said yesterday training!!

was written with a light hearted.... Duh! attached to it

or a shut up attached to it.

Where as your reply left little room for interpretation of childishness.

Give it a week and I'm sure they will let you back, if you really want the twitter feed. Personally I can live without it.

Fair enough, however i still think its massively unprofessional from a top organisation. Saints need all the fans and followers it can get. To just 'bin' a fan just like that is unreal.

He banned my daughter on twitter for asking too many questions. Probably about Jamie Foster but still bit poor.

Im often surprised by sone of the catty reponses on Facebook from the official Saints to fans comments.

There is an attitude when it should always be professional in the face of provocation.

Its suprising because in other media they are usually spot on with their reponses.

Because social media is so instantaneous it can probably be comments said in haste.

Unsurprising really given the ludicrous stuff that the media man will have to sift through.

Indeed. This isn't aimed at the OP, but the quality of comments on the twitter and facebook streams makes this place look like an intellectual centre of excellence. It must be exasperating at times having to monitor it.
