Only for WCC and International games...

Lets face it, as soon as Aussies decided to ban it we all knew international rules would follow suit to make it consistent for them as they always do. Not really a great shcok

It will come in domestically.

The RFL have to decide when to do it. They can wait till season end or just adopt it now.

Chances are they will adopt it straight away but allow some descretion to Ref's to give players time and not just send them off straight away.

They will need to write some sub rules for any possible disapplinary. So it may not be this weekend, but probably before seasons end as they will want the SL players up to speed come the WC.

Possibly, although I think common sense would leave it until the end of the season rather than changing rules 4 weeks in.

That said, it is RFL so any logic will go straight out of window and probably pull a round out of the hat for when to stop it or some other thoughtless process to decide

Not surprising after the Bousquet incident. For me, it shouldn't be banned, but the referees should use a bit of common as it what's dangerous/reckless.

Exactly, shoulder to shoulder is even allowed in soccer.

The RFL has been stupid. They have consistently under-punished head high tackles of any description. What on earth is a four match ban for what Bousquet did to THages? It's a disgrace, that's what. And that four matches includes the one in which he was sent off. Had they started bashing out 12 match bans for hideous head high tackles like that, and like the one Chase did on the Featherstone player last season, I bet there wouldn't have been a single head high shot this season so far. As it is the RFL has been weak on every front: weak in the punishments, weak against the Aussies, just weak.
