No, he's done his time and earned every penny. It would be a confusing move, to wait till the season has started to offload a player, when realistically replacing him would be next to impossible.

Losing him would mean this season is another where we'd just have to go through the motions, but looking at the squad I'm not convinced it's not already a write off anyway.

It depends if we plan to replace him and if so with who?

If we could replace him with an half decent hard running prop I wouldn't be too bothered. When we are handing out a beating to a team he's one of the best in the world but appears to go missing in tough matches when we need hard yards.

I wouldn't read too much into this. It also describes Tyrone McCarthy as an Aussie, and Morley as a benchman, even though he started last week against Cas and is the Wire captain.

Assuming it means the end of the season and not now, I would wish him well.

He is probably earning more than he should be, but couple of years ago he was one of the form props in the competition. Certainly replaceable at the end of the season.

Says further up that if Luke O'Donnell doesnt go to Roosters, Brown would be keen to take him with him to Saints...

Cant see that, unless TP goes now then we dont have spare quota space and O'Donnell has been plagued by injury since coming over here and not found form he had down under (no doubt he is a class act but struggles to get onto pitch these days) so hopefully that isnt true.

Think TP is off contract next season so if he does decide to go back shouldnt be until then
