Do we think Turner will be our first choice kicker now?
Or was Brown just trying out different options in the Huddersfield game?
It seems strange that even when Turner went off, Makinson still didn't kick for goal.

Somebody told me he had kicked plenty of goals in the past so why not. Give the job to the person who does the best at it.

Seemed obvious to me Brown was just looking at his options.
Gaskells the best placekicker we have IMO.

Turner kicked for England Knights in the off season and the only reason he didnt kick for Hull is because they had Tickle and Westerman who have been regular goalkickers in the past.

Turner is a good kicker and if he is the most reliable then I am sure we will see him slot them over regularly over next season. If he isnt, I am sure Gaskell/Makinson/Lomax will take over in due course.

To be fair, Makinson was alright last season. Not in the same league as Foster when it comes to kicking, but not horrendous.

Gaskell's kick at Widnes was probably the emotional highlight of the season, for me.
It had been ages since I've felt on the edge of my seat like that.

we have a number a kickers ATM we just need to back one and im sure they will get better through the season, makinson seemed to take his eye off the ball so to speak with easier kicks last year but would have no problem if he had the job this year like wise lomax gaskall or turner i think anyone of the four could turn out to be a great kicker
