I've stuck up for Perry throughout this season, as when he has been fit he has put in some really solid performances. But it has to be said, he absolutely stank in the playoffs. In the match at the HJ he gave away more metres in penalties than he gained with the ball.
I think he's capable of big things, but he strikes me as the kind of guy who needs a bomb under him in order to really perform. Perhaps Brown will be able to get the best out of him, and also if Walmsley can challenge him for a shirt that might make a difference.

I agree. At times he has looked half decent but nowhere near consistent enough.
I remember reading the rumours thread and when the rumour about him signing appeared a few said it was too good to be true.....
He has shown glimpses of his NRL form this season (well been better than last season) but dont think we will ever see him at his best!
I am not one to call for lots of players to go/be replaced but I think we could easily cope without Perry and invest his wage and overseas quota on a far better player. Would rather see Perry go and us offer Taylor from Hull KR a deal
He finished year 2 in fine form: doing the naked run down Prescot Road on Mad Monday and getting himself arrested and fined for it by a passing police car!
