Could be low as 5th depending on how Leeds and Catalan fare in their remaining games.
Should be 3 wins and a defeat at Wigan in the last 4 games

Hope we finish lower, so we can go out of the play offs sooner and preferably not at Wigan or Warrington. I've hated this season, the sooner it's done with the better so we can try to move forwards. Mediocrity it far harder to handle than being out and out terrible and we're in that horrible middle ground, not awful but never going to win anything either.

Can't argue with any of that - give me nice honourable defeats against Hudds and Catalan and just let us get this annoying, niggling little season over with and start again afresh next year right now.

I still can't help but feel that the nightmare scenario looms though i.e. another final against Wigan on a massive pitch that our utterly one dimensional plodders stand no chance on after a Warrington collapse against us in the semi...

I know it was probably said in recent seasons,but surely this team is not good enough to reach OT and put us through another failure.BTW aren't you the MK Dons fan? I see you have signed our (Bury FC) goal scoring legend Ryan Lowe.Looking for his 3rd promotion in a row .

I hope we go as far as we can - if that's a GF loss, so be it.

So we're not the best side in the league - are we as supporters not meant to bother unless we're a 50/50 shout of ending the year as champions? If there's the potential to lose a game, we'd rather not play it?

Wednesday fan here, lowey was a great bloke to have at hillsborough this year, well liked and chipped in with a few important goals, arguably should've played more but megson stuck with madine and O'grady till he got the booty.

Best of luck to Ryan though, you don't fancy taking coke and mick jones back off us do you?

Would certainly have Coke back as he did a good job for us.Problem is that he thinks he is a better player than L1 standard so he wouldn't come back to us permanently.

I'd just rather not have to fork out 100 quid and waste my Saturday off work to go sit 10 miles in the air in that stinking stadium with my knees wrapped 'round my ears for 3 hours to watch a game that we've no hope at all of ever winning against the Pies if it's all the same to you? Call me defeatest if you like by all means. I'd rather Warrington went there and tonked them instead frankly.
