Ok so the coach is Daniel Anderson, the assistant is Mike Rush. There are more Saints players playing for the exiles and it's being played at LP.

So hands up who is supporting the exiles??

I'm supporting England, but I think it's a national outrage that Mike McIllorum and Darryl Goulding weren't selected first and second for England.

I think we should have picked all the English Wigan lads and then filled in the blanks

If players keep pulling out of the Exiles squad at the rate they are then we will have no Exile team to play against.

I agree.

Its funny how Saddened keep rabbiting on about McIlorum and Goulding not being selected and going on about Wigan fans moaning. In doing this he completely ignores the fact that although most RL fans and pundits, of all clubs and allegencies, are bemused by this it is no where near the biggest gripe that most fans have and it in itself is not why people are complaining. People are complaining about the squad as a whole and lack of building towards the World Cup and these complaints are coming from all clubs, not just Wigan. The biggest complaints I have is out of form players being picked, particularly 5 of the Leeds players that do not deserve to be in the squad, average players like Cudjoe and Wilkin getting picked and past it players like Peacock getting picked and being retained as captain. It is hardly like Wigan fans are up in arms just because of 2 players not being selected like he tries to make out. Why let that get in the way of a bit of anti-Wigan bile though?

He is in the Opta Stats team for the first half of the season, so he must be doing something right at least! Although I do admit that he wouldn't have been in my squad.

Anyway, back on topic...

England should win, but I think it will be close!

Meli is bound to be picked. It was Daniel Anderson who brought him over here in the first place.

It's an exhibition match, purely for the purposes of strengthening the England team. If it was a proper international then I would support England. Since it isn't, I can support whichever team and for whatever reason. I'll probably end up supporting both at different times!
