Best team Performance- Leeds at home / Leeds away. Both superb performances. Also Warrington away.
Worst team Performance- Wigan at Etihad, Magic Weekend. Worst Saints performance I've ever seen.
Best individual performance- James Roby v Warrington. Ran the show.
Worst individual performance- Paul Wellens v Wigan, Etihad, Magic Weekend. Absolutely embarassing.
Biggest letdown- Paul Wellens, he's awful. Lance Hohaia, although not really a let down, I expected him to be rubbish and said as much when his signing was announced.
Who's has stepped up- Paul Clough. Some numpties question his value on here. I just question his lack of quality hair. Superb stats it turns out. Other than him Sia.
Most improved-LMS. Brilliant improvement this year.
player of the season so far- James Roby, Sia Soliola, LMS
Rest of season expectations- More abstract humiliation against Wigan. I CBA with the play off permutations, but we'll lose at the DW to close the regular season and then be knocked out of the play offs by them no doubt. I honestly don't want another Grand Final this year, we're not good enough to win it and I don't want to sit through another defeat.

Best individual performance- Jonny Lomax v Leeds @ home
Worst individual performance- Jamie Foster v Bradford @ Odsal
Biggest letdown- throwing away a 12-0 lead away at Hull for an 18-18 draw!! Should have run ball with penalty in last minute cos I am still convinced we would have scored...Saints of old would have run it and pinched the game and showed imo we are a shadow of our former selves confidence wise
Who's has stepped up- Josh Jones
Most improved-LMS
player of the season so far- James Roby
Rest of season expectations- a top 4 finish and our annual beating at Old Trafford...probably by Wigan this year!!
Biggest letdown- Paul Wellens, he's awful. Lance Hohaia, although not really a let down, I expected him to be rubbish and said as much when his signing was announced.
You know what? I have to give you some credit for at least introducing the element of doubt into everything you post. Either you are the best wind up merchant I have ever come across or you really are as sad (sic) as your posts suggest.
Wellens is not awful he's just a shadow of the player he once was and that's not suggesting he's been great all year because he hasn't. Apart from Roby and Sia neither has anyone else. At least you can never ever criticise him for effort and desire; albeit that his performances no longer consistently come up to the standards we could once expect - that happens to EVERY player.
Also, how on earth you can depict Wellens generically as 'awful' when he's actually still been good in patches this year, yet describe Lance as 'not really a let down' is as embarrassing as you are accusing Wellens of being. Just because you predicted he'd be 'rubbish' doesn't excuse the level of tripe he's dished up this year.
Lance has been the biggest let down since Michael O'Connor.

I agree on Hohaia. But technically if I expected him to be poor, he can't really let me down by being poor can he?
On Wello, I over emphasise the point and make it too often, but it's true. If Wellens had retired two years ago and the Wello currently playing had been say 'Mike Ashburn' from the NRL he would be coming in for real stick. The fact Wello is a club legend clouds so many people's judgement on him. They let what he was blur what he is now. There are even people saying he's the best in SL bar Tomkins and that he should be given another 2 years
Best team Performance- Leeds Home/Wire Away... Basically that 2 weeks of awesomeness we had!
Worst team Performance- Wigan at MM, worst I've ever seen.
Best individual performance- Ade Gardner v Leeds at home... He was like a man possessed! Perhaps not best in terms of quality, but best I've seen him play for a long time.
Worst individual performance- Gary Wheeler at MM
Biggest letdown- Lance Hohaia... No contest
Who's has stepped up- Sia Soliola!
Most improved- LMS
player of the season so far- Sia
Rest of season expectations- To finish 3rd (sad statement for Super League considering how far behind Wigan & Wire we are) and to step up in the play-offs, maybe grab a win over Wire in the first round but then lose in the Semi.
Who's has stepped up- Paul Clough. Some numpties question his value on here. I just question his lack of quality hair. Superb stats it turns out. Other than him Sia.
Oh, to be inside your head, Saddo
Saddened!, in the rumours thread, regarding Paul Clough wrote:
Why? He's becoming less and less impressive by the week as he gets older and is now an out and out plodder with no real impact, either defensively or with the ball. There is little Clough does that an academy prop like Forster couldn't be doing for a lot less money.
The more I read your posts the more I think you'd be a hoot down the pub.
