Really pleased for him tonight. Thought he had a blinder along with the rest. Was a bit worried right at the end though when he appeared to be limping. Seemed to get better in the post match walkabout. Hope he's not incurred another injury that will hamper his progress as he has been getting a good run of games together.

He just needs game time and a bit more confidence. His footwork is always good. As is his support play.

Needs to get rid of that habit of grabbing upstairs, tho.

Looks like he could make a decent centre/winger. He's no halfback though, all those who said he's better than Eastmond in the halves were wide of the mark.

What evidence have you got or is it just your opinion?

I don't think you can say either way - its far too early.

When he was 12, he said to my brother "put some money on me playing RL for england by the age of 25" - my brother is now wishing he had. Gary didn't say whether he would be a centre of half back though...

I've said it many times before - he's Saints' #6 for the next 10 years if he stays fit. He's just a bit wasted playing centre for me and is probably just a little too small to ever make a really top class one.

He looked like a little lost sheep against Bradford in the halves. I don't see why he can't make the move to centre, he's as big as Jamie Lyon.

His centre play was excellent tonight, he has the step and the hands not to mention a bit of pace. Teams hate that running out wide. I think people see 6 and 7 as some mark of excellence and unless he plays there he is not being appreciated. Well I disagree, this year we have needed experience and control in the halves, Lance brought that tonight.

The plays where alot harder for Leeds to read and the whole shape of the side just looked more balanced and everyone seamed to know what was required of them in both technique and strategy.

Make a very dangerous centre and will be a classy 6. He doesn't look as natural when he's played 7 and stood close to the ruck.

If he gets early ball to run at the opposition defence he looks extremely dangerous. All he needs now is to bulk up a little bit and I could see him being at top line strike centre in the paul newlove mould.
