I feel it's a little harsh on Tommy Makinson not to get a call up to the Knights Squad. Rhys Evans is in there and whilst he shows potential, Tommy has achieved much more to date.

I agree. I think he is potentially our greatest asset. I certainly think he is the most mature in rugby terms of our youngsters currently. That's not to say I don't rate our others by the way.

It's worth noting none of the Aussie based players are in there either as they probably won't play in the mid season games:

Sam Burgess
Gareth Ellis
Chris Heighington (Don't know if he'll be re selected)

Luke Burgess probably won't be far off as well. Had stepped up a bit at Leeds before he went down under, carried it on through the rest of the NRL season.

Atkins requested to not be involved in the last internationals because of difficulties in his personal life. Given his form and who he plays for, I'd be truly absolutely amazed if that wasn't the case again this time.

Johnny Lomax ain't good enough for Saints at S/H so not a chance playing for England

Should be Brough and Mcguire at half backs for me.
