How are you guys coping without him? He got through a phenomenal amount of work, who is picking up the slack etc?

I didnt see the Catalan game, bar the highlights, and im not trolling either. It is a genuine question since ive only seen 1 Saints game this year, (Vs Salford).

The question comes from a conversation i had with a guy at work, but thats by the by.

If anyone fancies answering my question in some fashion, that would be appreciated.

Truth is we've not replaced him. We lost a prop, a stand off and a scrum half and replaced them with two back row forwards and a utility player. We've got no one making Graham's metres, we're just missing out on them.

I totally agree. Our recruitment policy has been utter shocking and I can't work out why we've not replaced the positions he's lost.

Thanks for the reply.

Thats alot of yards to be missing out on. Ive backed Saints for the CC, was going to have a little top up after the weekend but i think i will keep the powder dry for a while.

When did Graham announce his intention to leave, this seems pretty similar to Gareth Ellis leaving Leeds and Hetherington replacing him with Dany Buderus.

Conversely, was Josh Perry seen as James Grahams replacement? I noticed he didnt make the 19 this week.

Beleive it or not but perry was here last year and brought in to play with graham.

Letting jake enmitt go was a mistake IMO.

Indeed, but given how much of last season he missed, and how Saints covered his absence last year, maybe he was deemed to be an adequate replacement for James Graham this season.

Don't forget we tried to get (and thought we had) Griffin. Why we didn't go for anyone else after that is a mystery though.
