In case you haven't driven past any of the electronic signs, I just thought I'd let people know that town centre car parking is FREE for the match tomorrow night.

In the multi storey car parks?

What time do these shut? On the website it says 9-30

In all the council town centre car parks. If parking on the old Tesco you will need a ticket but the barriers go up at 7pm so you wouldn't be charged.

What time do these shut? On the website it says 9-30

That would be cutting it a little fine if they shut at 10-15. The game will finish at aprox 9-40 and with 10 min walk to the car park and I expe t that to be packed with cars queuing to get out.

Think it's taxi time.

Aren't all the car parks free after 3pm anyway?

On another note I see the company who are making Pimmies pies are encouraging people to park on their industrial park off Jackson Street, buy a pie and walk over to the Stadium.

Yes but the Council were thinking about a nominal charge for match nights, and of course they may charge for future matches. But tonight's is free.

Car parks now closing at 11.00pm, which is better.

whats the deal with the new tesco,
3 hours free parking it says on the signs?
