The 19-man squad has been announced for the first match at Langtree Park, the Karalius Cup.

Sorry to be picky but Royce has stated on numerous occasions that Laffranchi will be used in the front row. Why people insist on naming teams with him in the backrow is beyond me. Its a bit like people who put Hohaia anywhere but half-back.

If he doesn't start at 13 on Friday I'll eat my shoes. He'll be used as TP was last year, a Paul Gallen type Loose Forward.

So every time Simmons has said he will play prop, he was just saying it for a laugh? I would expect Flanagan or Flannery to start at 13 with Laffranci, LMS, Clough and Perry rotating at prop. I think 2 of those will start with 2 on the bench.

Yeah, loves his laughs Royce. On a serious note, he did say in the earlier press releases he would be using him at 13, I'd be very surprised if he's not there on Friday.

Because Royce has consitantly picked three props in his starting line up, naming one at 13.

OK well if thats the case he may well be used there but every time I've heard him discuss Laffranchi, he has said prop. There is currently a video on the super league website where he says this also.
Anyway, its certainly a strong looking 17, with Shenton, Puletua and Wellens to be added also. Dont think I've been this excited for a friendly!
