and do we REALLY need a prop?

Were losing Graham who IMO could never be replaced this year (being realistic) Perry will be like a new signing and when Clough was fit again towards the end of the season our pack looked good where in previous games it had let us down. So say Perry in for Graham then we have LMS, Cloughy, TP, Laffranchi and then we have the younger players who will be a year older IE Forster and McCloskey(?) (was that the prop out of the two irish lads?)
I think the key is how and if injuries pan out rather than lack of numbers.

You would have to say that we have room. We offered Leon a deal which he did not take.

I don't think anyone has been signed since. O there is room of some sort but how much is debatable. Whether we are looking is debatable as we may need that money to keep sia from the NRL in future years. Also ashurst has gone and he had a year left. NOt a huge amount but we cant be at cap.

I ope we have a signing up our sleeve, but as for desperately needing a prop - I don't see a team with much better front row options than Perry/LMS/TP/Laffranchi/Clough/Magennis.

My worry is only perry and Lms are out and out props that is their natural position and the loss of Graham is massive and IMO needs replacing with good tough prop.

I would agree with you, and we also need to bear in mind that Perry might be crocked for his second (and final) year with us as well as his first. I think we can cover all the other positions from our young player bank but prop is one we need ready made as we have only developing props in the background, which would be fine if we had two or three mature props already at the club but we're one short of what we need.
