Solomona pleaded GUILTY.
Wilkin pleaded GUILTY (with a previous instance of the same offence)

So?

Just because a player pleads not guilty doesn't actually mean he is not guilty! Duh!

I have yet to meet or read of a fan of any club anywhere other than Wigan who thought Hansen would be given a ban. He could have decapitated someone but he'd still be playing on Saturday!

What you or any other fan thinks is irrelevant. Hansen pleaded and was found NOT GUILTY by a panel of experienced people who examined the evidence. It was not a kangaroo court as you would probably have loved.

Read the plea and the findings.

However he could have done a Roby and been found guilty but no ban!!!!!

Sorry, have to agree with rogues here, if he pleaded not guilty and was found not guilty, whats the problem? if he'd been found guilty and only got a fine, then there'd be an issue!

It's nothing to do with the incident at all. He could have murdered several children and would escape a ban because it's WEMBERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRLEEYYYYYYYYYY this weekend.

Everyone knows this, but we shouldn't complain.

A - Because we don't get into finals anymore

B - Because we've benefited from similar leniency in the past. I remember Newlove decapitating a Warrington player once the week before a Cup Final and crying to my Dad that we'd lose because he wouldn't be playing. He laughed and said, "They won't ban him from Wembley lad".

the best bit was WHY Hansen pleaded not guilty.

The player explained about the techniques that they are coached and that they have individual reviews of opponents. They were briefed he is the third best offloader in the game and gets really quick play the balls. Intention was to slow the play the ball down

ahhhhh... so it was fadge's coaching techniques that caused the crusher tackle... and not the players actions.

Nothing to see here.......

I especially loved this bit

Mr Maguire encourages his players to ensure the safety of opponents
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
