It's 'professional' by the way.

That Jamie struggles with sleep and sometimes takes sleeping pills is well known to anyone who is on Twitter.

However, you starting a thread on it is very sad! Illuminating, but sad.

It's a well known fact from reading Twitter, that all players struggle to sleep after a game (Wellens and Mathers in particular talk about this).

It is not unreasonable for a player to take a sleeping tablet to help them sleep after a game. It's better than taking a banned substance, like oh I don't know Cocaine for example.

How someone can tell an individual is "clearly drunk" from a couple of postings on Twitter is beyond me

Looks to me like a bit of harmless flirting...just a bit of a laugh! Hardly like he has said anything too bad really...think some people really need to get a life instead of stalking people at 2am on Twitter!!

If you are having trouble sleeping, I'm sure Jamie can recommend some sleeping pills for you!!

As a life long insomniac, one who has used pills, I can confirm that some do have the effect of making one feel drunk.

However, that's no excuse for acting like a 2hat and getting girls to send you pictures. That's just silly, particularly when all Jamie has to do is hit Westfield Street and he could have number of girls throwing themselves at him just because he plays for Saints.

To sum last night up, careless, but in the grand scheme of things, not the worst thing anyone will ever do.
