It's passable. It's not the big bang everyone expected and the club hinted at when the stadium was announced. If we're really spending the full cap we're wasting a lot of money other clubs don't as their depth is better.
We don't have a fullback, one of the three main players in modern teams.
We are two props short of where we need to be, even if we move TP there fulltime.
We are about 3 or 4 senior players short in overall squad depth.
If I had been in charge I would have signed two from Flower, Griffin, O'Hara and signed another couple from them just for depth.
Comparing the squad quality and depth against the likes of Warrington Wigan and Huddersfield I think one too many players are taking a fair wedge of £££ home, again if we get a few injuries we'll struggle.
Whereas Wire and Wigan can loan out the likes of Mitchell Riley B.Davies etc etc we don't get that option as we seriously lack depth.
Whose going to be filling the void left by James Graham ? Thats one big gap you'll need to plug, the metres he makes per game will be hard to replace.
Anthony Laffranchi is a good signing, no nonsense with a high work rate. Still think you need some serious work doing to that backline to make it a threat, Jodie Broughton or Tom Briscoe would be prolific for you if you could put them with a class centre in the mould of Lyon or Gidley, yeh i know they are hard to find but you have found them before.
Obviously you need to sort out which are going to be your starting half backs and stick with them, you have a few options. Getting the half backs right as you know is important, Rangi Chase would have been ideal as you need some X factor in the half backs but not sure what your quota situation is at the min.
The likes of Wello, Gardner and Leon are probably earning way beyond their contribution this season because of what they were when they last signed up. Ade for example was probably an international and looked the best winger in SL when he signed his last deal. Wello probably still had the use of his legs.
I think we've fallen down because we've put so much faith and investment into the young players and they've not been good enough. If the likes of Dixon, Ashurst, Frodsham etc were where Mossop, Farrell and co were for the Goons we'd look stronger. At the moment one or two injuries in any position and our bench becomes incredibly brittle.

Laffranchi LMS Clough and with alot of back rowers I suspect Puletua will move to Prop, however we're being linked with Flower (likely to go to Hudds) and O'Hara

I've been saying for 18 months Saints need someone like Broughton but saying that Makinson isn't slow either and we mustn't forget only just starting his career.

We'll have Hohaia, Lomax, Gaskell, Wheeler and according to reports Pryce aswell. Who plays where is the million dollar question
