Same, I though Shenton wasn't the worst on there either before his injury. Just needs work on the high ball taking when contested, but I won't knock him for that seeing as Richards has like 4" on him!

He did brilliantly every other time the ball was up. I've seen far more experienced wingers have that done to them by Pat Richards. He learnt his lesson and the next time he was in the same situation, tackled Richards as he hit the ground.

Good player, will go well for you. Not as prominent as Foster but that's no bad thing while you're cutting your teeth at that grade. One of your many decent kids at the moment, future's looking bright for you.

At least he is safe under a high ball though, could move him there on the 5th next week if Wello plays to take it, as I am sure they will exploit this!

I would like to say that I would have Lomax at Wire for anything you ask. HE hinted to it last year, but this year he is the best I have seen in a sts shirt.

sorry. I meant realistically.

Being serious, he is the best youngster in super league in my opinion. He has tons of potential and has a Sam Tomkinsesque ability to dismantle teams. Except unlike Tomkins he isn't paper thin, doesn't fall over every time he gets the ball and isn't a niggly, self-opinionated, pompous player.

Also, Foster is a really really good kicker and an above average winger the showing from Makinson tonight shows there is still star quality in Sts.

Also Lomax doesn't try and cheat and get chuffed every decision he gets for him that shouldn't be given! After Foster had been taken out after his kick through it showed Tomkins with a smug little grin, he knew it was the wrong decision!.

Good game from Tom last night, getting out jumped by Pat richards is no disgrace, he'd do that to international wingers and fullbacks. Pretty quick and a safe pair of hands, what more do you want from a winger? considering he's very few games into his SL career, he looks confident too! Who'd have thought even a year ago that we'd have not one, but two promising wingers, one of whom is a great kicker!
