viewtopic.php?f=28&t=497545 A typical made up rumour (by who though) lol. starts off with wanting him , then deciding he probably wouldnt go , then suddenly he isnt good enough anyways. Couldnt be bothered reading all the pages but according to the thread (and I wouldnt be shocked to find Rogues at the heart of this one) Foster was a Goon fan , funny thing though they claim he was a Botica fan but I would have thought he was a little too young to remember Botica actually playing.

My comments have been that we don't need him as we have two better wingers in Richards and Charnley.

Really? I am shocked. Claiming every young player with any promise at all is a 'lifelong' Wigan fan is your speciality.

Here's one I know you can answer , what was Botica's last season at Wigan?

Only the ones that I know are.
Botica I think finished at Wigan in 1995 but played for Cas and Aukland Warriors after that.

I think he came back to the UK to play for cas in SL I but broke his arm or leg, which saw him retire?

To be fair why would you need to go down the route of signing a young promising English player brough through the youth system of either Wigan or Saints when you have a proven production line of your own!

Only for kicking ability, give them both a couple more years and see who develops into a better centre.

I'm sure there was a debate here a couple of years back regarding Eastmond having much more potential than Tompkins!

A few years back Shaun Ainscough was apparently better than all our young backs. How's he doing for you at the moment?
