We have amassed 306 points at an average of 30.6 points per game.
We have conceded 178 points at an average of 17.8 per game.

Of the 306, Jamie Foster is top points scorer and top try scorer with 108 points from 40 goals and 7 tries.

Our 306 points is made up of 54 tries and 45 goals which means a team conversion rate of 83%.

We have had 18 different names on the score sheet which shows a great diversity in attack. Perhaps our 'flat' take it up and drive attack has finally been invigorated and we are seeing some true Saints style entertaining rugby. As 37 of our 54 tries have been scored by our back it shows that we have more ability than barging over from close distance. After a bad start and some years of 'dull' rugby, things are looking up.

After writing this I struggled to see a point, which you probably are too, but I got bored so its allowed.

We are playing better rugby than we did under potter but will Royce take us to old Trafford?

Last year I had few heated debates with saintsfan in regards to, is playing good rugby better than winning cups by being boring?

IMO I'd rather my team be boring but make finals and win cups but sons would rather see saints throw the ball all over the place but not be in with a shout of wining cups.

So would Royce have taken us a step back if we don't make any finals but entertain the fans?

Don't forget how entertaining the rugby was when we were champions.

That team was alot better than this current one but it's been long time since we was champs!

Well at the moment we're entertaining and getting the results, so it's all good! Generally though I agree with you trophies mean more than flash play

I'd rather us play 5 drives and kick and bring a cup home than throw the ball about like the globetrotters and win nothing.

But 5 drives and a kick under Potter brought us nothing, zilch, nada.

Entertaining rugby under Millward and Anderson brought us every trophy in the game.

Bit of a pointless debate if you ask me.
