I used to go out with an A&E nurse who had plenty of stories of men who came in with broom handle "injuries" where they'd been sitting on one and had "accidentally slipped"

Worst ones were the guys who had been innocently hoovering up naked when the hoover had gone mad and trapped their manhood

Hmmmm. I note the report didn't mention any other serious damage other than "nerve" damage to the hand. Someone told me (probably the same nurse) that sitting on your own hand gives a sort of temporary nerve damage to your hand so that it feels like someone elses hand apparently when gripping things like broom handles. Can't think why anyone would try that?
