Still waiting to be impressed by this guy?
Apart from two good hits this season one at Salford and on Friday against Bradfud he's not impressing as i thought he would?
Coming back from injury is wearing a bit thin now and playing in a different postition than centre might not be helping but i just thought he was better?

He isn't a centre. He is doing fine when he is on the field its just getting him there that is problematic.

I thought he was our best back-rower at the start of the season until his injury. He runs the ball well and makes some good yards.

I think (I could be wrong) he missed the tackle that led to the break before Bradford's opening try on Friday night, but apart from that I have been impressed with him.

He missed 2 major tackles on Friday when going for a big hit on the Bradford player, got taken straight off, and when he came back on got sin binned within 3 seconds. Other than that I cant say I have noticed that much of him at all in his Saints career to date.

I think he's doing ok and with the correct pass IMO would break the line pretty often. He is massive, very powerful and run very hard, if was given a short ball in between two defenders he'd break the line.

I just don't think he's being used correct.

That was one game.

He was easily our best player against Warrington (if that was possible) and is running the ball extremely well. Expect big things to come from him, he is showing promising signs so far IMO.

Very good in attack, hit and miss in defence, if he hits them, they really know about it, but half the time he misses leaving a big soliola shaped hole in the defensive line

While I thoroughly enjoyed his hit on the Bradford halfback on Friday night (as did the rest of the Saints fans I think!) I wish he would stop doing that, unless it is going to be 100% clear that he is going to make the hit, because what we want is reliable defence, not big hits (other than as a bonus).

I must confess to being pretty unimpressed so far but, so far, he really hasn't played much.

See my posts on the Saints vs Bradford thread regarding his deficiencies in defence. Going forward, at the minimum, he's extremely strong and gains good yards, but has the potential to really bash some holes in defence.

I think he could go either way and turn into either a real powerhouse of our back row, or the next Vila - devastating on his day, but too many errors.

I think we will see a better sia now lomax is at halfback and we are moving the ball a little more. He's a strong runner and should be used more as an attacking backrow with good ball and not just taking drives up.

I think sia will also benifit from leon being back as he puts teams on the back foot which will help sia as he's big, powerfull and pretty quick for a backrow.

When the grounds get firmer and we are fireing in attack im sure we will see the real sia.
