Worst set of Cup fixtures ever. There is absolutely nothing to televise and no interest will be generated by any of the games. One wonders if it's done purely to keep the subsidies for season ticket holders getting in for free to an absolute minimum.

I thought that when I saw it, maybe they learnt their lesson after the Leeds vs Saints 4th round tie a couple of years ago xD Worst draw I've seen since I've been watching RL.

serious question,

would everyone rather go to away games, than play at Widnes?
I went to the quins game and the atmosphere was terrible, but that was partly to do with the performance.
Also, the orginasation to buy tickets at the ground is pathetic.

I think from a fans point of view they like away games. That way all the speccies who want to be together can do so and generate a better atmosphere than we can do at home in a seated stadium. This helps us get behind the team more. I sit in the North stand now and oh how I miss the pop side atmosphere we used to enjoy -even though it had dropped off a bit by the time we left KR. I really enjoyed the atmosphere the fans created last night even though the numbers of fans was lower than normal for a Leeds game.

I do not envy the BBC having to pick TWO games, perhaps one Yes! it could be as embarrassing as the 82 points we conceded this afternoon at Warrington?? good job it was not a Sky game, the people at Twickers must laugh at our game sometimes!

That's one way to look at it. I had the unfortunate pleasure to watch the Scotland RU match on Sat and was astonished to hear that they hadn't scored a try at Murrayfield since 2009! I'd rather watch 80 minutes of RL with 15 tries scored than 2 & a half years of not seeing my elite national side cross the whitewash once at home!

The draw looks completely fixed.
The likelyhood of just one all SL tie in the draw is so low its embarrassing.

I agree the marketing and distribution of tickets is appalling; if whoever organises this worked for me he/she would be soon out of a job. Against dire, there were so many of their fans who didn't come to the game because their meagre allocation was sold out. Their only option to get more was to come into our shop in town (yeah right, that was going to happen) or take the chance on the night. They couldn't buy on line or get them from the wire shop. Result = one side almost empty.

Hopefully we will do better crowdwise against the dulls this week.

I would hope so. Saturday's performance will have buoyed our spirits, Bradford is traditionally a big fixture, but seems more winnable at the moment. I'd hope for a 10,000 gate.
