To many panicy Saints fans out there. We are now a point behind Quins and Warrington, who play tomorrow. These are the sides with the wonder coaches. It's a tough game when 1 point makes the difference between a messiah and a drop out.

What I want to know is who were those guys playing wearing Saints Jersys cos that wasnt the same team we watched last Friday !!

Good result and a decent performance tonight. A lot of people on here, the likes of Saintsfan, mugwump, fearthevee and that lot were panicking big style. I wasn't, I knew it was only an early season blip that we've had many of. We've got through the losses of players before and we'll survive Eastmond, Graham and Pryce leaving. We might not dominate like we used to but the blood still pumps.

Thank you. I loved the second half! (Was way too nervous during the first half!)

And I agree. This was a committed performance with a halfback pairing who both took on the line and who both wanted to be part of the team. I reckon that tough training session and probably a damn good talking to sorted them out! While I don't expect us to win every week or even play as well as we did in the second half, we fans want total commitment from our team and that's what we got tonight. For me, the win was a total bonus!

Well, that will be the real test. If they can put in a performance like that at Widnes, win or lose, then the team will have done in actuality what Wello said they had: put down a marker for the rest of the season. The test will be this weekend.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying getting carried away with the win! It's our first opportunity of doing so this season! (The other wins have not been the result of quite so committed and well executed a performance)
