Apologies if it's already being discussed. I'm still banned from the Wigan forum, for laughing you see.

I've just been in the Spar and I see Mr Gleeson's ugly mug plastered across all the local papers. Seems he has got into trouble with his chemist again.

If there was ever a big call to make with regards to letting a big name player go, it was that one. By heck Saints have saved themselves some trouble with that boy.

He was being blackmailed and they caught the guys doing it... he withdrew the evidence.

Just all round dodgy that boy. The rumours about it have been going around for weeks.

Wigan go on and on and on about how tough Maguire is and how he wouldn't allow naughty behaviour. By the end of the season they will have Hock and Gleeson in the same team again. Staggering. I'm just glad Saints saw it right and got shut of him pronto.

Once he retires he'll have his money spent and either be on the streets or inside that boy depending on how lucky he is.

If I were Wigan, other than releasing him obviously, I would lock him in the JJB at night and not let him out. A danger to himself and others that one.
