Somethings fishy, but it's not the biscuits.
Simmo should sell Kyle to Fylde RU while he still can. Another season with no halfbacks or props. Oh the joys of supporting Saints.
How did you get your name, again?
I've voived my concern over the general condition of the squad, that a lot of them look over weight and I've been tempted to blame this for the injury problems we've had.
The jinx that Eastmond, Wheeler and Lomax have had has been extrodinarily frustrating and given their potential for saints, the situation really angers me.
Of late, however, I've had a little rethink. Dixon, Clough & Ashurst have been reletively injury free, so maybe its a softy backs' problem, but Foster and Armstrong have had few injury problems (one injury for Armstrong from MM). SO now I'm becoming convinced a major factor is the type of build they are.
The three young crocks are all backs, but with shorter, powerful builds. All very accepting of piling on poundge in the gym (or crispy cod, in Wheeler's case).
We've not been full time for long as a sport, and considering the training will be developing all the time, perhaps we just don't know how to develop this type of build without putting too much strain on their young joints.
Hopefully (and I think they will) they'll develop throught the injury problems, although its all hypothesysing from me.
