We'll see. Long way to go yet. What annoys me is that everyone after last years quite freak result, expects that now to become the norm. When it was simply nothing more than an anomaly. This years champion will more than likely come from top two sides in the comp, as it has done in 11 of the last 13 SL seasons.

The win ratio counts for nothing if you dont even get there, the chances are you've played more play off games than us as we've got to most finals only playing one or two games where you've played more from being lower in the table so that stat is basically rubbish.

I'm not predicting you won't make the final after last year "freak" wins but I honestly think your peaking to early like Warrington did last year.

However, if you carry this current form through to the play offs then I honestly think you'll walk it. I've been very very impressed with you lot from what I've seen this year.

It's the stubborness to keep persisting with Hohaia at 6 over Gaskell that has annoyed myself, and a fair few others. Could be understood if he was leaving, and being replaced by someone new, but Anderson is very much a part of their coaching setup, and I would have thought, becoming more involved with the coaching as the season wears on, ready for an orderly transition. Maybe the Anderson effect is dragging them down?

Giants fan are probably best placed to say why they've begun to falter. But none of the reasons offered up by yourself are the reason IMO. I don't believe Brown's tactics have been "figured out" although if they have, you'd best hope he comes up with something different for you guy's next year.I certainly don't believe the players are lacking in motivation either. They play for themselves and for honors. If anything one would think they'd wish to send Brown off in the best possible way, it's not as if uncertainty is hanging over the club in any respect. They look pretty injury free to me also at present.

I honestly can't say what it is. But I'd hazard a guess that what ever it is Brown doesn't seem to be able to either identify it or curb it. As it keeps on happening season after season.
