I think the club see Wheeler as a centre for Saints in 2011. I certainly do. Just because he has played lots of half back doesn't change that. IMO (when fit) he's a better centre than Shenton, whom you recognise as a specialist.

Just as Wellens playing full back wasn't out of position just because he played most of his junior rugby in the halves.

If saints class wheeler as our first choice centre for next year then meli will be playing most of the year.

It isn't long since we were all drawing up teams with no TP in because he was definitely leaving too.

Except Carmont doesnt play like a 33 year old.....this guy is an great asset to you and for super league in general.

Well, a man that Saddenned said he would have at Saints "in flash" (I think they were the words) has just been released by his club.
