Tbf, the commentary is a recording of a local radio station (kcfm), and it /is/ for the Hull site. You didn't think that they'd be putting Hull down, did you?
Did you ever see some of the old Wigan v Saints games with John McDermott and Ron Hoofe? doing the commentary. It was like watching two different games.
The best ones though are the commentaries done by Mick Morgan of Cas, they are hilarious. One of my favourites was last season when Dean Widders intercepted and ran 80 metres to score against Bradford. Mick Morgan commented "He doesn't go that far on his holidays"

Hull are at the same level as Saints. Anyone who believed we'd 'smash' Hull with that side we put out last night they need their bumps feeling.
Once I heard the bench announced I feared the worst and I'm normally very optimistic about our chances as you all know. Such a weak back row and a bench that was next to useless isn't a very good combination. When you factor in we had Tony P, Maurie and Sia, our three biggest and strongest forwards, plus two of our most creative players in Kyle and Wilko it was never going to be an easy game. A narrow win was the best possible result and we weren't far off that at all. The killer try was the second after half time, that gave them such momentum that it was only a matter of time.
It's interesting how it is escaping people that we (Hull FC) had a weakened team out as well with Horne, Berrigan, Calderwood and Lauaki all missing - Horne and Berrigan being pivotal players.

Calderwood doesnt count, the other 3 I agree are worthy of mention, but Balserwood doesnt count, what you had on show was rather good I though out wide.

You have had your years of injury crises. It's our turn now. We had more missing than you did, so there.
Very bold statement indeed. Saints are in the Semis of the cup and have 50/50 chance of making the final and they will definately figure in the playoffs with some players very fresh after layoffs from injury.
I certainly would not be brave enough to make that bet.
