The important thing to remember about Mose is he has slogged his guts all season to work the weight off and get fit. Indeed, by the time the playoffs arrived he was starting to develop definition.

People might think that's no big deal. But just take a moment to contrast him with Feka P - who came with arguably a bigger reputation and yet never showed consistent improvement in fitness throughout an entire season.

It must be hard for those big south sea islanders to quell the urge to eat the house breakfast. The fact that Mose's fitness was always on the up curve means he has a professional attitude. Which is something very few were saying of Paleasina when he left Wigan.

Just to put you right.

Nobody will listen. They think he's the best prop in super league and he's not lazy as he's doing as he's told.

I can just imagine it now

Mose - "ok boss"

Doesn't St. Pete realise that consistently misrepresenting other people 's opinions just makes him look childish and silly?

No.
He realises that I put up a very good argument as to why you were wrong.

And btw he and I disagree on a lot of things, as you can imagine. :)

I'm normally in 100% agreement with you on most things, but just don't get your stance on Mose. He's a big impact prop, his size is the key thing. It draws in players, it forces them to work harder. With that you obviously get a player who cannot do 50 minutes let alone 80, but he's not meant to either. He was pretty useless to begin with, but as the season wore on he got fitter and fitter and he played almost every game following his return. All the signs are positive for next season too. He's obviously hankering after an NRL move and he won't get a decent move unless he turns a few heads next season. Stats mean nothing for impact props, their job is to make an impact. Smash someone and get their pack scared, trample someone and make a half break and change the momentum of a game. It can sometimes just be one run, could be the only run he makes all game, that puts a side on the front foot. Momentum is a huge thing in RL and having the biggest mass in the comp makes it easier to change that around.

This is what St Pete finds very very difficult to understand and retorts to being over critical of him in almost every thread involving Mose. The criticism has gone beyond personal opinion and is becoming one of a paranoid nature.

I've praised Mose when he's played well so I do try to be honest as I can. My biggest complaint with Mose is that he won't do those hard yards I'm banging on about all the time. One seen Amor do two tough drives off his own line and getting hammered while the big Mose was still walking back into the line (is that offside by way ?) and that for me happens to much.

The pack has to share the work and work as a unit. That wouldn't happen at Wigan that's for sure.

Look at his two last games for Samoa. He's took 10 drives in two games which IMO isn't acceptable and that indicates that the are some unsung heroes are doing his work.

Like I've said, when his attitude is right and he's on his game he's really good but 60% of the time he's lazy and not interested.

Barrie Mac and Terry O'conner both share my opinion and Mose himself said his performances wasn't up to scratch.
