Before people raise the victory flag on Iwo Jima let's not forget we have only played two games since Royce left.

You are pi$$ing in the wind mate.

She is by far the most stubborn, deluded individual on any forum I have ever been on. And I think she just enjoys the attention she gets by saying such stupid things.

A retarded hamster could see that Meli wasn't at fault for that try. But because she wont admit she got it wrong, SaintsFan will continue to spout drivel and tell us all that he is to blame.

Unfortunately you can't ban people on here for being so wrong 99% of the time. So the only other option is to ignore her. Stop throwing nuts to the monkey and hopefully it'll stop messing around.

I'm not fighting any battle. I'm simply expressing my opinion.

We don't know yet whether sacking Royce was the right decision. We have played all of two matches, both of which motivate this team regardless of who is in charge. The third such match is on Good Friday, although I suspect Wigan won't be offloading into our arms as Warrington did so often.

Thirdly, Meli was at fault for that try. Given another time and another set of coaching staff you and the rest of creation would have agreed with me. However, because you are collectively drooling over the most inexperienced coaching team we have ever had in charge, you and others are now thinking the sun shines out of Meli's backside. Alas, I am not as fickle as most on here and I'm also not as willing to treat our new regime differently from any other when they first come on board.

The fact that it's been two games is irrelevant. So is the fact we've won those games. It was the right call purely because we weren't headed in the right direction under Royce and we certainly weren't improving. If we'd lost 81-0 to Leeds and Warrington it would still have been the right decision.

No one with any knowledge of rugby would blame the winger in that situation, no matter what team or player were involved.

Agree entirely. And your comment says all we need to know about our "friend" SaintsFan.

Because I'm bored at work, I'm going to humour you.

Please tell us all, in perfect detail, just how Meli was at fault, bearing in mind his centre and 2nd row had left him stranded in a 2 v 1 scenario.

This should be fun......

There may be hope that this form will continue, but I think most people expect the novelty of a new regeime to wear off at some point. I think the buoyent mood is mainly caused by knowing we'll at least give a showing, even if we're bettered, unlike some of the dour losses we suffered earlier in the year.

Yes we were. Our defence improved against both Hull and Bradford so to say we weren't improving is false. Hull are now running second in the league and so they cannot be total tosh. Also, at Hull and Bradford we did not have Roby. Roby returns and what happens? We go forward with energy and dynamism again. We also got LMS and Gardner back from injury for Leeds, and Soliola returned for Warrington. Nobody knows what direction we were heading in with Royce because he only got seven games. And Purtill went as well remember. I can't see him being the mastermind behind the coaching direction. He appeared to be perfectly ok in McManus's eyes during Potter's regime. Sledgehammer to crack a nut.
