Il be honest, I didnt read any of the thread and jumped straight to page 6, was expecting a few chomps actually. If this was the Warringtonboard and id have said it about Des Drummond id have had 15 pages of abuse by now.

Connolly came across to me as someone who chased the money.

Believe me, he's an ok bloke, very popular with his fellow ex players. As you say, we weren't there so what I'd say is, if you knew him, you'd know that there's no way he could come up with lies like that and keep a straight face.
