You can see who has potential to be good and who has potential to be great from a very early stage no matter what you say. Look how Sam Tomkins burst on the scene, he has massive potential to be great if he cuts a few facets out of his game. I'm not comparing Gaskell to Tomkins, but I haven't seen anything in Gaskell to suggest he will be 'great'.

I would like to formally eat my words. Last night's performance from Gaskell was nothing short of phenomenal and showed me that there is a spark. If he pull that out again I would be delighted.
