Who cares? We were owed a bit of leniency after that try that never have should been following the drop out that never was.

a) Didn't Wellens need to ground the ball in play for it to be play on? As per Saint Stevo?

b) You got that leniency when Eastmond's knock-on was punished by a scrum to you.

The ball was on the floor between Wello's right arm and his body. His left arm was in the ingoal area. There should not have been a drop out given. There was, so our forward pass was momentum.

Quality game in my opinion and you capitalised when we were tiring late on. From what I've seen and injuries aside, I wouldn't bet against another Wigan-Saints Grand Final this year.

It certainly wasn't utter crap.
The Goon's defence was awesome for 60 minutes and they took nearly every one of their limited scoring opportunities.
Ultimately, having to make in excess of 100 more tackles than us meant that they tired sooner. Fatigue lead to penalties, which gave us the necessary field position to capitalise on their exhaustion.
Graham, Soliola and Puletua were a real handful throughout. A little more composure in the half backs and we would have won.

It appeared that Eastmond was deliberately tripped immediately following his chip, which lead to him being unbalanced and led to the knock on. Not saying this justifies the knock on being missed but the trip also went unseen by the officials.

According to Stevo, probably the MOST Saints-biased commentator EVER, it wasn't on the floor. I think it could have gone either way, but when someone as biased as he says it isn't and the decision's correct, then it must be so.

Ironically, did you see the reverse of the decision in the Bradford game? I'm SURE a Bradford player was tackled and the ball grounded in the in-goal area, but no drop-out was given at all.

Not having access to a replay, I'll take your word for it.

I think, at the end of the day, both sets of fans are (fairly) happy with the result. Saints fans for salvaging a point after being dominated for 65 minutes, Wigan fans that we didn't lose BOTH points.

With both teams being under full strength, it'll be great to see how a match would pan out when they are back to their best. Both showed what they're capable of when firing well.

To be fair i think the dodgy calls evened themselves out over the game. Wigans downfall in my opinon was their poor execution and discipline in the last 15 or so minutes

I don't care what Stevo says. The camera told a different story.
