Yes in response to your "Wigan are lucky to be able to afford transfer fees" to show that it isn't luck at all.

But, it would appear that Wigan are being run as a profitable business without owning their own stadium yet other clubs who do are losing hundreds of thousands of pounds per year.

Anyway back to signings. Clubb and to some extent Hopkins are the ones I'm not sure about, I think the other four will be assets to the squad.

I've not seen enough of Hopkins to comment. Clubb is a decent player to be honest. He's not great but will do a job. I

It will be interesting to who will play, you seem to have a lot of forwards.

Rumour mill up here today in cumbria, Tilley and Wheeler going out to Barrow Raiders on a long term loan. Can anybody close to the club confirm if this is rubbish or a reality.

Think it'd be a good move for Tilley, but not for Wheeler. Think it's sink or swim for him this year.

Are you including Warrington in this sweeping generalisation?

Last year Warrington made £300k profit with a greater turn-over than Wigan's whose paltry profit of £28k was on the back of £240k of received transfer fees, without these Wigan would have lost £212k.
