I totally agree. If we get hammered by Wigan Nathan Brown will be gone by Tuesday morning.

I think Brown will be here next year unless he quits.

The performances aren't good enough. Especially now as we have a near fit squad. Lets face it McManus aint going to sack any of the players. Brown's head will be on the chopping block if we get hammered against Wigan.

I think the word 'if' should be changed to 'when'.

A Wigan team with players missing ran us close on Monday. By the time you play them in late July some of those players will be back.

I tipped Saints for the last 4 of the play off's, which I now retract. I know nothing about what is or isn't going on behind the scenes at Saints but there just seems to be something not right, something bad & I haven't got a clue what it is.

But the body language that your players are sending out appears to be the same as when Royce was your Coach.

I can assure you he's not getting sacked.

Nor should he, he is a quality Coach. In Tony Smith's 1st year at Wire we never made the play offs and got hammered on a number of occasions.

Brown is as safe as houses. Why do you think he continues to do what he does with his tinkering and such like in spite of the regular losses? If he didn't already have approval by those whose approval he needs - if his job wasn't as safe as houses - he wouldn't take those risks.

For sale thirty brand new suits, made in 2007 never been worn but rather tear stained.
Apply to Wigan warriors rented accommodation.

2 nil will get you a win
30 nil will get you a win
75 nil is absolute humiliation.

Re: Tinker tinker enough enough : Sun Jun 30, 2013 6:49 pm
Brown's selections are at times ludicrous and his picking of Howarth in the back row was probably his worst selection thus far. Notwithstanding the mix and match selection criteria, I truly feel there is something wrong with the players attitude.
It has been obvious in many games that they lack passion for the shirt. on many occasion they have let the opposition steamroller them into submission with impunity. Is this because the players are just not good enough or that they lack the will to play for NB. Is NB frustrated by the lack of ambition from above and is in his own way trying to highlight the teams weaknesses. Could it be player power going on a go slow so to speak because of management decisions they disagree with i.e. team selection. Senior players in all sports have a history of bringing down coaches they do not approve of. Whatever the problem is, it will be no easy task to resolve it.

Re: Tinker tinker enough enough : Sun Jun 30, 2013 6:54 pm
He has a contract which we would need compensate him for and then. Cunningham he is not inspiring me as an assistant and I don't think he would really fancy the pressure. A good young coach like Paul Rowley from Leigh, I would go for that but he really would need time and assistance to move on the old guard. Plan B another Aussie well that is now a well worn road isn't it. Yes I am fed up with Brown the selection of Howarth in the second row tells me he is timid with any player over 25 but I think we are stuck with him and we need to let him and the players understand our feelings I did on Friday but not many others did. However plenty left early which will have been noted.

With a three year deal Brown is in a win/win situation but if the same situation carries on in the coming seasons his reputation as a coach will be shot.
